Margaret A. (Coen) Kane

West Springfield - Margaret A. (Coen) Kane, 92, passed away Wednesday October 19, 2016 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home. Born in Springfield, May 18, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Fahey) Coen. Margaret worked for the New England Telephone Company for over 30 years and was a communicant of Saint Thomas Church. Her beloved husband, Eugene E. Kane, passed away in 2009. Marge and Gene enjoyed day trips, visiting Hampton Beach, and watching the Red Sox. She is predeceased by her brothers Edward, Francis, John, and Walter Coen and sister Mary Haggerty. She leaves many nieces and nephews: Coens, Haggertys, Kanes, and Rookes. The funeral mass will be held Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at 10am at Saint Thomas Church, 47 Pine Street West Springfield, with burial to follow in Saint Thomas Cemetery.
