Obituary
Margaret C. (Farrell) Walsh, 88, passed away August 17, 2022, at the Arbors in Westfield surrounded by her loving family. Born in Springfield, July 15, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Rose (Dubois) Farrell. She worked in the cafeteria at West Springfield High School for over 40 years retiring in 2018. She was a communicant of St. Thomas Church. She leaves her beloved daughter, Coleen Johnston of Abbott, ME, her beloved grandchildren, Kyle and Torin, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews including John Farrell and his wife Christine of Westfield. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Bartholomew in 1994 and her children, Kevin and Diane in 2018. A Funeral Home Service will be held Saturday, August 27 at 11AM from the Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home, 1043 Westfield St., West Springfield with burial to follow in St. Thomas Cemetery. A calling hour will be from 10-11AM. Donations may be made to the National 4-H Council Contributions P.O. Box 69364 Baltimore, MD 21264-9364 or the St. Thomas School Development Fund 75 Pine St. West Springfield, MA 01089.
