Margaret C. (Ryan) Martelli

Margaret C. (Ryan) Martelli, 86, passed away Monday, at Wingate of West Springfield. She was born in Northampton to the late Mabel (Cross) and Charles Ryan. Margaret worked as a waitress for years in many area restaurants and sold Avon for over 40 years. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph Martelli in 1989. She leaves her loving children, Katherine LaFrance and her husband Russell and Daniel J. Martelli all of West Springfield, her adored grandchildren, Joseph LaFrance and his wife Lynn, Keith LaFrance and his wife Karen and Mia Martelli, her great-grandchildren, Sara, Kevin and Kaitlyn LaFrance, her brother Raymond Cross of East Longmeadow as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Evelyn. The funeral will be 11AM, Monday at the TOOMEY-O'BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield St. W. Spfld., the burial will follow at Hillcrest Park Cemetery. A calling hour will precede the service from 10-11AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 516 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104-2396.
