Obituary
Marguerite M. Proulx of Westfield, MA passed away on Monday, November 14th at the age of 93. She was born one of six children in Central Falls, RI and resided there until moving to West Springfield, MA with her late husband, Fernand Proulx, and two sons, Dennis Proulx (d) and Rene Proulx where she lived for many years. She was a communicant of St. Thomas Church. She is survived by her son, Rene Proulx, daughter-in-law Marie Proulx, granddaughter, Lisa Hayes and her husband Alex, grandson, Christopher Proulx and his wife Serena, and great granddaughter, Elise Proulx. She was a devoted Catholic and will lovingly be remembered by her family and friends for her warm heart, her generosity, her graceful soul, and enduring spirit. The Funeral Mass will be Monday, November 21, 2022, at 11:30 AM from St. Thomas Church with burial to follow in the Mass. Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. Calling hours are Monday from 10-11 AM at the Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home, 1043 Westfield St., West Springfield, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
