Westfield – Marsha Ann (Gorski) Ryan passed away on April 11 with her husband of 51 years James E. “Jim” Ryan at her side in their Westfield home. She was 75 years old. She was born in Holyoke on November 30, 1950, to the late Bolislaw and Stasia (Perlowski) Gorski. Marsha was raised in Holyoke and graduated from Holyoke Catholic High School in 1968 and Holyoke Community College in 1970. She and Jim lived in Agawam before settling in Westfield in 1984. She was a Staff Assistant at Holyoke Community College for 41 years, and then part-time for the Massachusetts Department of Higher Education for 8 years.

Marsha was an enthusiastic Beatles fan and went to Las Vegas specifically to experience a Cirque du Soleil Beatles show. She loved travelling with Jim, visiting many European locales, Alaska, many US National Parks and taking a Rhine River Cruise.

Marsha will be deeply missed by her loving husband Jim; cousins Erin Walther of Florence; and sisters-in-law Jennifer Conde of Ellington, CT and Jill Ryan of Smithfield, VA.

Services will be private and have been entrusted to Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home.
