Obituary
Mary Ellen (Atkinson) Grant, 88, of Marshfield, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2020. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Eddie in 2012, after celebrating their 57th wedding anniversary. Mary Ellen graduated from West Springfield (MA) High School in 1950 and the College of New Rochelle in 1954. She went on to attain her Master of Education from the University of St. Josephs, West Hartford, CT in 1981. Mrs. Grant was a long-time schoolteacher in West Hartford, CT. She was exceptionally dedicated to her students and parents. Throughout her life she was a dedicated quilter and knitter. Mrs. Grant is survived by her children Michael, Bill, Kevin and Kathy, daughter in law Valarie and son in law Charlie and her brilliant and talented grandchildren. The private funeral is being held at St. Thomas the Apostle Parish in West Springfield, MA.
