Mary L. (Marotte) Pollard

West Springfield � Mary Laetitia Pollard, 95, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017, at Wingate in Springfield. Mary was born March 31, 1921 in Holyoke to the late Fred and Mary (McMahon) Marotte. Mary lived all of her life in West Springfield and was a graduate of Cathedral High School. She was a communicant of St. Thomas Church and was very active in their Women�s Club. Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband Frank Pollard, her son Kevin F. Pollard and her sister Rose Cook. She was the loving mother of Frank C. Pollard of West Springfield, Mark S. Pollard and his wife Linda of Wilbraham and her children, Richard and Brian, and John M. Pollard and his wife Vivian of West Springfield. She was the caring sister to Alfred Marotte Jr. of West Springfield and Dorothy Preston of West Springfield. Calling hours for Mary will be Sunday from 4-6 PM at TOOMEY-O�BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield Street, West Springfield. The funeral will be Monday 9AM at the funeral home, followed by a 10AM Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 47 Pine Street, West Springfield.
