Obituary
Mary “Maureen” Patricia (Reynolds) Wolff, 85, a lifelong resident of West Springfield, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at home.
Mary was born in Brooklyn NY on September 18, 1935, daughter of the late John L. Reynolds and Catherine P. (Kelly) Reynolds. She was a graduate of St. Joseph High School and the Caledonian Hospital LPN Program. Maureen completed her RN degree in 1988 through the College of New York.
Moving to West Springfield in 1962, she worked at Providence Hospital, Mercy Medical Center, and the American Red Cross before retiring in 2010.
She loved to travel and kept active by attending plays, social dinners playing cards and bridge, along with scrabble with her family and friends. She always looked forward to game night when vacationing at Cape Cod.
Mary is survived by her devoted children Kenneth P. Wolff and his wife Helen of Holyoke MA, Robert P. Wolff and his wife Karen of Essex CT. and Catherine P. Reidy and her husband Richard of Belchertown MA. Mary adored her five grandchildren Rachael, Preston, Abby, Kevin and Zac. She is also survived by her sisters Kay (Reynolds) Howkins, Rose Ann (Reynolds) Maloney and brother in law Mike Maloney.
Mary was predeceased by Kenneth L. Wolff, Tom and Pat Reynolds, Jim Howkins, and Mary Ellen (Reynolds) Bolton.
Mary touched the lives of many people and was always grateful for her loyal family and friends. She was always so thankful to everyone that had been good and helpful to her over the years and her one wish was for everyone to simply ”Enjoy Life”.
There will be a private service held in her honor. The Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
