Obituary
Mary E. (Wing) Miller, 95, formerly of Gooseberry Road passed away Wednesday at Holyoke Care Center. She was born in Greenfield on January 29, 1926 to the late Howard and Pauline (Zimmerman) Wing. She worked for years in the cafeteria of West Springfield High School. She received her Associates Degree in Business from Nasson College in Springvale, ME. She was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. She was the beloved wife of the late Vernon F. Miller who passed away in 2003, loving mother of Vernon W. Miller and his wife Charlotte of Westfield, Christopher H. Miller and his wife Katy of West Springfield and Stephen N. Miller and his wife Babs of Virginia Beach, VA, devoted grandmother of Jenna, Sarah, and Rachel Miller, and Ariel Payne-Brissette and her husband Brandon, and caring sister-in-law, Betsy Wing and was predeceased by her brother Howard Wing and sister Virginia Short. The family will have calling hours on Saturday, May 1st from 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm followed by a Celebration of Life at 1:30 pm at the TOOMEY-O’BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield Street, West Springfield. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
