Michael P. Finnie, 78, passed away Monday May 17, 2021 at the Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton. Born in Pontiac, Michigan, September 29, 1942 the son of the late Edward and Helen (Keeler) Finnie. He was a graduate of Western New England University with a degree in business. Michael worked for the Greenough Paper Company in West Springfield retiring as company manager and was a member of the Air National Guard. He leaves his beloved wife, Patricia (Marceau) Finnie, his loving children, Thomas (Christine) of Palm City, FL. and Michele Finnie of Waltham, his beloved siblings, James (Louise), Paul (Jo-Ann) both of West Springfield, Russell (Susan) of Agawam, Christopher (Sharon) of Enfield and Caroline Dineen of Holyoke, his beloved grandchildren, Patrick, Samuel and Samantha along with several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert. Services are private and the Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home 1043 Westfield St West Springfield is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Assn. of Mass. 262 Cottage St. Springfield, MA. 01104-3274
