June 5, 1982 — March 2, 2024

Michael Timothy Foley, born June 5, 1982, died peacefully at Baystate Medical Center, Saturday, March 2nd after a short illness with his family by his side. Michael worked in the Parts Department at Fathers and Sons in West Springfield. He enjoyed building models in his free time. Michael looked forward to fishing trips in Vermont with his uncle Jack and cousins Johnny and Josh and loved that recently his nephew Nolan found a love for the sport as well. Michael leaves behind his parents, LouAnn (Steadman) and Edward Foley Jr., his older brother Justin, younger sister Krissy and nephew Nolan. He also leaves many cherished aunts, uncles and cousins, including his birthday twin Sabrina McBride, and best friend Dan Mertz. He was pre-deceased by both his paternal and maternal grandparents, Ed and Rita Foley , and Bernie and Helen Steadman , and his godmother and aunt Nancy Baker. Michael was a proud member of the Tatham Memorial Club and Verdi Club and enjoyed the time spent at both places. Michael will be remembered for his kind blue eyes and love for Boston sports. Please join us to celebrate his life on Friday, March 8, starting at 4pm at the Tatham Memorial Club, 3 Paul Street, West Springfield. Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home has been entrusted with all arrangements.
