Obituary
Michael J. Ricci, 37, formerly of West Springfield, passed away September 30, 2022. Born in Westerly, RI, November 1, 1984, he was the son of Tammy (Reed) Thivierge and her husband Ken of North Adams and father, Mark Ricci of CT. Mike attended local schools in West Springfield and attended of West Springfield High School where he excelled at wrestling. He was a US Army veteran during the Iraq War and worked for various construction firms over the years. Besides his parents he leaves, his beloved son, Domenic Ricci and his mother, Shannon Porter, his loving brother, Bryan and his wife Angie of West Springfield his sister, Crystal Dougherty, his maternal grandmother, Helen Reed of Westerly, RI, his paternal grandparents, Ralph and Patricia (Roberts) Baker of Feeding Hills, and his close stepfather and Dad, Bobby Roberts of Westfield and he leaves many close friends, aunts and uncles. Calling hours will be Saturday from 3-6PM at the Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home 1043 Westfield St West Springfield. Burial with military honors will take place at the Mass Veterans Memorial Cemetery Monday October 17 at 3PM.
