Michael R Tetreault

Michael R. Tetreault, 54, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family December 21, 2022, at Mercy Hospital. Born in Springfield, May 2, 1968, the son of the late Donald and Joan (Harrington) Tetreault. Mike was a graduate of Avon Old Farms High School and Oswego State University where he excelled at hockey as a goalie. He worked in the aerospace industry for various companies. After his career he traveled across the world for work. He enjoyed sports, was an avid Boston fan and loved the outdoors. He was a communicant of the Sacred Heart Church in Feeding Hills. He leaves his beloved wife, Diane (Joao) Tetreault, his loving children, Ryan and Cassidy, his beloved siblings, David of Longmeadow and Julie Santer of Barrington, NH. A funeral home service will be held Tuesday December 27 at 1PM at the Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home 1043 Westfield St. West Springfield with burial to follow in Agawam Center Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday from 11AM-1PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital 501 St. Jude Pl. Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
