Myron James Chaderjian, 89, of Amostown Road passed away Wednesday at Heritage Hall in Agawam. He was born in Springfield on January 22nd, 1926 to the late Nahoon and Mina (Kanjian) Chaderjian. He grew up in Springfield and graduated from Springfield Technical High School and later received his Masters of Education from A.I.C. in Springfield. Myron worked as an Elementary Teacher in the Springfield School System for 28 years. He was a WW II U.S. Army Veteran and served in the European, African, and Middle Eastern military campaigns. He was the awarded the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. He was a communicant of St. Thomas Church in West Springfield and a former member of West Springfield/Agawam Elks. Myron enjoyed spending time at the casinos with his family and friends. He was the loving husband of 65 years to Lorraine M. (Stewart) Chaderjian, beloved father of Carol A. Bailey and her husband Steve of Westfield, Lynn F. DuffyO�Shea and her husband Brian of Warren, and Scott Chaderjian and his wife Lisa of Westfield, devoted grandfather of 13 and caring great grandfather of 16. The funeral will be Tuesday 9 AM at the TOOMEY-O�BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield Street, West Spfld., followed at 10 AM by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Thomas Church. Burial at St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hrs. are Monday from 4-7 at the funeral home.
