Norma Jean “N.J.” (Wall) Berozsky, 87, of West Springfield, MA passed away at home on January 22, 2026 surrounded by her loved ones.
Born on August 27, 1938 in Westfield, MA, Norma was the beloved daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Kubacki) Wall. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Shirley Kirtycz, her mother-in-law Josephine Berozsky, sister-in-law Ginger Berozsky and son-in-law Kenneth Demers
Norma was raised in Chicopee and attended Chicopee High School before settling in West Springfield She worked in the retail clothing and banking industries before retiring and was a parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle in West Springfield. Known for her beauty, youthfulness, generosity, love of the beach, devotion to watching football and cheering on her New England Patriots, keen sense of fashion and a passion for all things shopping, Norma loved spending time with her family most of all. She was actively involved in her children’s, grandchildren’s and great-grandchildren’s lives and supported their activities. Family gatherings held special meaning for her, and she took great joy in bringing everyone together and making sure every detail was just right. Her legacy of love lives on in all those who were blessed to know her.
Norma leaves her devoted husband Thomas Berozsky, beloved feline companions Sasha and Max, son Ronald Bourassa (Eileen), daughters Donna Mastriani (Vincent) and Noreen Demers, five grandchildren Amy (Matt), Jenna (George), Nicholas (Emily) Ryan (Tara) and Daniel (Brooke) and nine great-grandchildren, Conor, Cian, Noah, Abel, Teague, Caleb, Maeve, River and Ayden.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 29 from 4-7pm at TOOMEY-O’BRIEN FUNERAL HOME. Family and friends may gather at 9 am on Friday in advance of the 10am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Thomas the Apostle Church. Burial will be private.
