West Springfield- Norman Albert Faricelli, 81, of Homestead Avenue passed away Friday at the VA Medical Center in Brockton, MA. He was born in West Springfield on May 6th, 1934 to the late Albert and Malvina (Guazzaloca) Faricelli. He lived in West Springfield all of his life and was a graduate of West Spfld. High School. He worked as a self-employed pattern maker and he owned and operated American Pattern in West Spfld. for 45 years. He later worked for Western Bronze in West Spfld. until his retirement in 2012. He was a communicant of St. Thomas Church. Norman was a member of the FORM Club, the West Springfield Veterans� Council, the Greater Spfld. Over 60 Club, the West Spfld. Senior Center, and the West Spfld/Agawam Elks Lodge. He was a master woodworker and he designed and built a coffee table that was on display at Smithsonian in Washington for years. Norman was a U.S. Army Veteran and served during the Vietnam War. He was the loving husband of the late Marilyn E. (Blake) Faricelli who passed away in 2009, beloved father of Annelee Motta of Ludlow, Mark Faricelli and Jeffrey Faricelli and his wife Kristine all of West Spfld., devoted grandfather of Michael Motta and Kyle and Lily Faricelli. There will be a Funeral Home Service 11 AM, Saturday at TOOMEY-O�BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield Street, West Spfld. The burial will follow at St. Thomas Cemetery in West Spfld. Calling hours will be Friday from 4-7 PM and Sat from 10-11 AM at the funeral home. Norman�s family would like to thank Dr. Nikhal Munshi and his team for all great care they gave, the Brockton VA Rehab Facility, and also the Oncology Nurses at VA Facility in Jamacia Plains.
