Om Tandon, 83, passed away Monday at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. Om was born in Ambala,India, January 14, 1931 he was the son of the late Shambhu Nath and Rampiyari Tandon. Om has lived in West Springfield for the last 10 years. He worked for the Boeing Aircraft Company for 21 years and previously worked for Bell Helicopter, the Zenith Company and Sickles Company in Chicopee. Om and his beloved wife Ann were intrepid travelers and loved to spend time with family and friends. He leaves his beloved wife, Ann (Davidson) Tandon, his loving daughter, Sheila and her husband Rex Hoyt of Leon, KS, his siblings, Kedar Nath Tandon of India and Sheela Verma of Milwaukee,WI, and his loving grandchildren, Chase, Kaytlin, Lane and Kendell. Calling hours are 3-6 pm Thursday from the Toomey-O�Brien Funeral Home 1043 Westfield St West Springfield. A funeral service will be held Friday at noon from the Chapel at the Springfield Crematory, 171 Maple St., Springfield.
