Patricia Claire (Coughlin) Goyette, 91, of Walnut Street passed away Saturday at her daughter�s home in Westfield. She was born in Springfield on March 27th, 1923 to the late Gladys D. (Daley) and Patrick J. Coughlin. She lived most of her life in Agawam was a graduate of Agawam High School. She was employed as a bookkeeper at American Bosch and later at the Premoid Corporation in West Springfield. She was a communicant of St. Thomas Church in West Springfield. Patricia was an accomplished seamstress and made outfits for everyone in the family. She even made the bridal gowns for both of her daughters as well as the dresses for the bridal party. She was also extremely skilled in knitting, embroidery, and crocheting. Patricia was also a wonderful cook and especially enjoyed preparing the feasts for all the family gatherings. She was the beloved wife of 69 years to Raymond �Charlie� Goyette, loving mother of Carol A. Thomas and her husband Gary H. of Little River, SC and Linda M. Thomas and her husband Scott W. of Westfield, caring sister of Shirley Tavernier, devoted grandmother of Charles J. �CJ� Thomas of Fort Hill, SC and Jonathan H. Thomas of Randolph, MA, and cherished great grandmother of Jason, Devon, and Alexander Thomas. The family would like to take this opportunity to thank the nurses and volunteers at the Noble Visiting Nurse and Hospice Services of Westfield, especially, Sharon, Yessica, Lauren, Peter, and Steve. The calling hours are Thursday from 9:30-11:00 AM at the TOOMEY-O�BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield Street, West Springfield followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM at St. Thomas Church. Burial will be at St. Thomas Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Patricia�s name may be made to the Noble Visiting Nurse and Hospice Services, 77 Mill Street, Westfield, MA 01085.
