West Springfield, MA-After a courageous lifelong battle against Marfan syndrome, Paul G. Celello-Tierney passed away on April 9, 2025. Born in Hartford, CT on January 11, 1966, Paul was the only child of Paul and Josephine (Fabrycki) Celello. He graduated from Bulkeley High School in 1984 and went on to become a paraprofessional in the New Haven, CT public schools. Paul was a kind and gentle soul, a friend to everyone he met. Even through his hardest days, he never complained and always had a smile for the people he loved. Paul was an avid gardener and enjoyed caring for his plants and flowers. Paul is survived by his loving and devoted husband of 11 years, David A Tierney, his Aunt Phyllis and Uncle Pete Delmastro, cousin Lynn Delise, cousin Michael Kutski and his wife Lynn Kutski. Paul will be deeply missed by his many close friends, especially Mark Julien who loved Paul like a brother. Calling hours are on Tuesday, April 15th from 9:00AM-11:00AM and a funeral service at 11:00AM, both at TOOMEY-O’BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, West Springfield, MA, followed by burial at St. Thomas Cemetery in West Springfield, MA.
