Obituary
Paula Jean Sullivan, 71, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2021, with her son and sister holding her hands. Paula was born on July 17, 1949, in Springfield, daughter to the late John and Rita (LaBonte) Chicklowski.

My mother was a graduate of Tech High School in Springfield -class of 1967. She also took a few business and real estate classes at STCC in Springfield. She started her own business as an Apartment Rental Agent, Property manager, and landlord in 1986 and was told by many people that she couldn’t do it. She did not listen to anyone and went on to build a small real estate empire thereby finding homes that were the perfect fit for her clients. She enjoyed travelling with me, most notably our trip to Hawaii where she went down 7 of the longest ziplines in the Hawaiian Rainforest. We floated on the clear blue water on rafts and then drove to the mountains to swim under a beautiful waterfall. Her favorite hobby was shopping, shopping, shopping :-) She treasured spending time with her family and friends. My mother was the kind of woman who would give you the shirt off her back even if it were her only one. She loved life. Alzheimers and Dementia had taken mom away from us many years before her physical self, passed on march 27, 2021. She explicitly made it very clear that when her time came; she wanted to be celebrated and have everyone remember the good times with her and not the times that she was afflicted with this horrible, evil, and tormenting disease. So, I ask everyone to please honor her wishes and know that she is now free as a bird and free from all earthly ailments. In closing, please feel free to bring any pictures you may have of her to her services; I would love to see them. Also, please feel free to take any photos of the display I will be putting together with pictures and objects that she loved.

Mom, I Love You Forever, your loving son Tommy.
