Paula M. (Ditomaso) Ditomaso

Paula M. DiTomaso, 62, passed away Tuesday February 16, 2016, at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Springfield, December 2, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Nicola and Mary (Delbouno) DiTomaso. Paula was a 1974 graduate of Holyoke Hospital School of Nursing. She then went on to obtain her BSN with High Honors American International College School of Nursing in 1983 and her MSN from UMass Amherst in 1986. Paula was inducted into the International Honor Society of Nursing - Sigma Theta Tau as a member of Beta Zeta- UMass-Amherst on May 2, 1986. She was a Registered Nurse at Holyoke Hospital for many years. Paula also served as the Assistant Administrator of Holyoke and Providence Hospital. She was a communicant of St. Thomas Church and was a loving and devoted daughter who took care of her parents until their passing. She leaves her loving brothers, Nicola �Nick� DiTomaso and his wife Mary of Agawam and Dominic DiTomaso and his wife, Alice of Feeding Hills and several nieces, nephews and cousins as well as her close friend, Theresa Przybylowicz. The funeral will be held Monday 9am from the TOOMEY-O�BRIEN Funeral Home, 1043 Westfield St., W. Spfld., followed by a 10am, Liturgy of Christian Burial at St Thomas Church. Entombment to follow in the Gate of Heaven Mausoleum. Calling hours will be Sunday from1-4pm at the funeral home.
