West Springfield -Philip Gioranino, 92, passed away Tuesday February 14, 2017, at the Holyoke Soldiers Home. Born in New York, NY, October 18, 1924, he was the son of the late Salvatore and Josephine Gioranino. Philip owned and operated Allied Heating and Air Conditioning since 1953. He was a Navy veteran of WWII, serving on the sub SS Flasher. His beloved wife, Mary A. (Yelinek) Gioranino died in 2001. He leaves his loving children, Gary (Karen) Gioranino of W.Spfld, Nancy Rose of Sarasota, FL, John Gioranino (Lynn) of Southwick; stepson Roger (Robin) Guay of W.Spfld; stepdaughter Susan Callahan of Ludlow; beloved grandchildren, Eric, Dena, Ashley, Raimi, Jesse, Christopher, Gina, Michael, Aaron, and Matthew; 8 great grandchildren, and his lifelong best friend, Bud Ashley of Springfield. The funeral will be held Saturday 9AM from the Toomey-O�Brien Funeral Home, 1043 Westfield St., West Springfield, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10AM from St. Thomas Church and burial to follow in St Thomas Cemetery.
