Obituary
Ralph K. Wood Jr., 75, passed away at Care One in East Longmeadow on October 25, 2021. Born in Springfield, March 10, 1946, he was the son of the late Ralph K. and Jean (Healey) Wood. Predeceased by his brother Douglas, he leaves his loving daughters, Lisa and Deborah Wood both of West Springfield, His beloved siblings, Donald, Barbara Phetteplace, Nancy Miller and Marcia Scully, his beloved grandchildren, Justun, Kaitlyn, Jeffrey, Victoria, Bryanna and Michael and great grandson Teagan along with several nieces and nephews. Life-Long friend Nick Steele and love of his life Barbara, as well as many close friends. A Funeral Home Service will be held Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 11 AM from the Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home 1043 Westfield St., West Springfield with a calling hour from 10 - 11AM. Donations may be made to Alzheimers Association 264 Cottage St. Springfield, MA 01104 Or Rays of Hope P.O. Box 5141 Springfield, MA 01101.
