Richard S Dudley

Richard S. Dudley, 82, passed away February 20, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Chicopee, June 13, 1940, he was the son of the late Millard and Mary Bojarski Dudley. Richard was a US Army veteran during the Vietnam Era. He owned and operated Bissley Real Estate with his late wife Patricia who passed in December. Richard was also a mason for many years and loved the beach and car rides. He leaves his loving daughter, Meghan Dudley and her partner, Jose DeJesus, his son, Richard Jr. of FL, his stepchildren, Kelly Shenas of Stuart, FL, Shawn Kane of West Springfield and Colleen Reay of West Springfield, his sisters, Maryanne Brunetti and her husband Joseph of Spring Hills, FL, Sylvia Smith and her husband Francis of E. Windsor, CT, Jenny Gerow of E. Longmeadow and Rosie Dudley of Springfield, his beloved grandchildren, Nicholas, Amanda, Stephen, Cory, Alex, Aly, Jonathan, Leila, David Jr, Suzanne and Maryanne, his loving great grandchildren, Jeremy and Ryan and several nieces and nephews. Besides his loving wife Patricia, he was predeceased by his son David, his grandson, Jeremy, and his siblings, Paul, Raymond, Alfred, David and Theresa. Richard’s funeral will be held Wednesday March 1, 2023, at 9AM from the Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home 1043 Westfield St. West Springfield with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10AM at St Thomas Church with burial to follow in St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday February 28, 2023, from 4-7PM at the funeral home.
