Obituary
Richard D. Maynard, 71, passed away Sat Feb 20, 2021 at Mercy Hospital. He was born Dec. 3, 1949 to the late Leo and Irene (Tousignant) Maynard. Richard graduated from Cathedral High School and served in the Army National Guard. He was an experienced automobile mechanic and carpenter and owned Start to Finish Builders. Rick was a kind and loving man, always willing to help others and was an awesome father and had a special charm and children readily took to him. He was a member of the VFW and their Dart Club. Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by his brother David, whom he was closest in age. He leaves his loving wife of 32 years, Suzanne (Mancini) Maynard, his daughter Danielle Maynard and his son Jarett Maynard, his granddaughter Ava Irene Bunker, four brothers and two sisters, numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be PRIVATE and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation in Richard’s name to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 517 Carew St., Spfld, MA 01104 or lovetotherescue.org The Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
