Rita A (Vanotti) Clark, 82, passed away January 1, 2022 at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Springfield, February 27, 1939, daughter of the late Leon and Angela (Alessi) Vanotti. Rita was a crossing guard in Agawam for over 30 years and worked at the Eastern States Expo. She was a communicant of St Thomas Church in West Springfield, was an avid Red Sox Fan, loved to travel and most importantly loved her family very much. Her beloved husband, William P. Clark died in June of last year. She leaves her loving children, William J. of Feeding Hills, Paula Becker and her husband Greg of Westfield, Elizabeth Latham of Vernon, CT, Jennifer Smith and her husband Mark of West Springfield and Lynn Clark of Feeding Hills, her beloved grandchildren, Tyler, Marissa, Caitlin, Collin, Casey, Luke and Aaron along with several nieces. The funeral will be held Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 11 AM from St Thomas Church with burial to follow in the Agawam Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. A calling hour will be Tuesday morning from 9:30-10:30AM at the Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home 1043 Westfield St West Springfield.
