Obituary
Robert R. Aubrey, 85, passed away June 27, 2021, at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Norwich, CT., July 21, 1935, the son of the late John and Alicia (Bellows) Aubrey. Bob grew up in Florence and was a graduate of the former St. Michaels High School in Northampton and the Hampden College of Pharmacy in Chicopee. He owned and operated the former Williams Pharmacy in West Springfield and was a Past Exalted Ruler of the West Springfield/Agawam Elks Club. His beloved wife, Shirley (Robinson) Aubrey died in 2019. He leaves his loving children, Catherine Bienia of West Springfield, Maureen Aubrey of N. Kingstown, RI, Michael Aubrey and his wife Barbara of West Springfield and Robert Aubrey Jr. of West Springfield, 7 beloved grandchildren and 5 beloved great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter, Sheila Fiala and 8 siblings. Calling hours for Bob will be held Tuesday, July 6 from 4 - 7 PM at the Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home, 1043 Westfield St., West Springfield. Donations may be made to the West Springfield Public Library 200 Park St. West Springfield, MA 01089.
