Robert B. Bartolucci, 74, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 5, 2014, at his home in Cherry Hill, NJ�after a long illness. His devoted wife of 34 years, Elaine (Sady) Bartolucci, was by his side along with their son, Tony Bartolucci and wife Emilie (Tami) Bartolucci. Bob was born in Springfield, MA on Jan 29, 1940 and was a long time resident of West Springfield. He enlisted in the US Marine Corp from Jan., 1957 to Dec. 1959 serving in Okinawa, Japan and subsequently was in the Marine Corp Reserve until Jan. 1963. Bob was a licensed real-estate salesman for many years in Massachusetts. He owned the Zodiac Lounge located in Chicopee, MA, operated Main Auto Sales, and was the owner of Arrow Auto Sales and A OK Auto Rental all located in West Springfield. He worked for 10 years at AMR Combs at Bradley Field in Windsor Locks, CT and was known as �40 Bob�. As someone who loved home improvement and working in his garage; he later devoted his career as a licensed and accomplished Massachusetts Home Inspector, only being forced to retire due to his declining health. He additionally served as a Hampden County Sheriff and was a West Springfield town meeting member. He is predeceased by his�parents Paul J. Bartolucci (1988) and Marie (LeFleur) Bartolucci (1970) as well as his older brother Paul F. Bartolucci (2013). Bob is survived by his wife, Elaine (Sady) Bartolucci; his children, 2 sons, Robert Bartolucci, Jr. and wife, Cheryl of Goffstown, NH, Tony Bartolucci and wife, Emilie of Cherry Hill, New Jersey; and 2 daughters, Lisa DelNegro and husband, Dino of West Springfield and Karen Miron and husband, Thomas, of Cottageville, SC. Bob will be greatly missed by his surviving bother John Bartolucci and wife Doris of West Springfield, MA; many grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. A Funeral Home Service will be held Friday, July 11, 2014 at the Toomey-O�Brien Funeral Home, 1043 Westfield St., West Springfield at 10am with a calling hour from 9-10. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob�s memory can be made to Shriner�s Hospital for Children, 516 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104-2396. The family would like to thank Acacia Hospice of Burlington, NJ for the care provided to Robert over the last year.
