Feeding Hills - Robert �Bob� Francis Crane, passed away February 6th . He was born in Haverhill, MA, one of nine children born to the late Maude M. (Regan) and John J. Crane. Bob eventually moved to Springfield and then settled in Feeding Hills where he has resided since 1960. He proudly served in the US Army during World War II; four of his brothers also served in World War II. Bob was a crane operator employed with Acme Metal and Recycling in Springfield and later with Sullivan Scrap in Holyoke. He was predeceased by his brothers, John, William, George, Gilbert and Donald, and by his sisters Madeline and Evelyn. Bob is survived by his sister, Arlene T. Garvey, of Agawam. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews, great grandnieces and nephews and great-great grandnieces and nephews. Bob took great joy in his visits with his great-great grandnieces and nephew. There will be am 11AM, Funeral Home Service, Thursday, Feb. 19th, at the TOOMEY-O�BRIEN Funeral Home, 1043 Westfield St., W. Spfld. followed by burial in Springfield Street Cemetery, Feeding Hills. A calling hour will precede the service from 10-11AM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Agawam, MA Council on Aging, 954 Main Street, Agawam, MA 01001.
