Robert M. Evans

West Springfield- Robert Max Evans, owner of the IHOP Restaurant on Riverdale Road passed away Thursday night. He was 78. Bob proudly served in the US Navy. He was very active in the community and served in many charitable and civic organizations. Bob is survived by his 100 yr. old father Thomas Evans. He also leaves his wife Ruth (Frey) Evans, his 4 children; Derek Evans, Kerri Talmage, Lisa Germain, and Kim Warren, a stepdaughter Debrah Haget, 12 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and his two sisters, Joan Mercer and Debbie Pousen. Visiting hours will be Monday from 4-7 PM at the TOOMEY-O�BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield Street, West Springfield. Funeral and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations in Robert�s name may be made to the Call of Molo to help finance the completion of an orphanage in Africa.
