Obituary
Robert W. Gordner, 74, passed away Wednesday August 28, 2019 at Baystate Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Born in Ft. Dodge, Iowa, August 20, 1945, he was the son of the late Lorence and Margianne (Coyle) Gordner. He attended schools in Washington State and attended Springfield Technical Community College. Bob was an Air Force veteran during the Vietnam War and worked for the US Postal Service for over 44 years. He leaves his loving wife of 52 years, Roberta (Hamilton) Gordner, his beloved children, Todd and his wife Chelsea of Suffield, CT. and Traci Heath of Ludlow, his sister, Sally Waller of Seattle, WA., and his beloved grandchildren, Brittany Gordner and her partner Amed, Katelyn and Grace Gordner, Shelby Heath, Brandan Heath and his wife Jeri, and Hannah Lanzarotto. A private burial with military honors will be held at the Mass Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. The Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Donations may be made to the Dakin Humane Society, 171 Union St., Springfield, MA. 01105.
