Robert J. Hart

Agawam - Robert Joseph Hart, 88, Cooper Street passed away Sunday at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield. He was born in Agawam on May 5th, 1928 to the late Michael and Elizabeth (Cavanaugh) Hart. He lived in Agawam all of his life and was a communicant of St. Thomas Church in West Springfield. He worked for 30 yrs. as a motion picture technician for Baystate Films in Agawam. He was a U.S. Korean War Army Veteran. Bob was a longtime member of East Mountain Country Club. He was the beloved husband of the late Stella (Komros) Hart who passed away in 1994. He was predeceased by his three siblings; Michael Hart, John Hart, and Mary Ferrell. He leaves his nephews, Craig Ferrell of Sutton, MA, Edson Ferrell of Ashburnham, MA and Edward Link and his close friend Fern Monat of Montgomery, MA. The Funeral will be Monday at 10 AM at the TOOMEY-O�BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield Street, West Springfield followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church. Burial will be at St. Thomas Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Robert�s memory may be made to St. Thomas Church, 47 Pine Street, West Springfield, MA 01089.
