Robin Anson Parker, age 57, passed peacefully at home in Holyoke, Massachusetts on Friday, December 25th following a long battle with cancer. He previously lived in West Springfield. He was born on August 19, 1958 in Springfield, Massachusetts. Robin was employed at Sullivan Transportation, A-C Motor Express and Yankee Candle International until he retired in 2001. He graduated from The High School of Commerce in 1976 and was a Boy Scout in his youth. He enjoyed making fine cabinetry, hiking, long rides on his Vespa Scooter, researching his family ancestry, appreciated the fine arts of Dali, van Gogh, Monet and Warhol, music, (artists like Michael Buble� , Josh Groban & Petula Clark), and politics. Predeceased by his parents, Richard & Helen (Tomlinson) Parker, he leaves his husband Allen Paul, his siblings Rickard Parker and his wife Peggy of Billerica, MA, and Rhea Doble and her husband Alan of Flowery Branch, GA, his step-mother Beverly Parker of Springfield, his Aunt Betty Scibelli of Wilbraham, his former wife Kathy Nekitopoulos of West Springfield, numerous cousins and many close friends. The family would like to thank Baystate VNA and Hospice for all the care and comfort they extended to Robin.
