Obituary
Roger (Buddy) Haskins Jr., 75 of West Springfield, MA passed away peacefully with family and friends by his bedside on Thursday February 13, 2020. He was predeceased by his father Roger Haskins Sr. and his mother Mae (Kunasek) Haskins, his sister Deborah (Haskins) Zetterholm, his brother in law Willy Zetterholm and a nephew Mark Zetterholm. Roger’s love and dedication to his parents was profound as he cared for both of them, at home, until the end. Roger sadly leaves behind his nephew Eric Zetterholm, his niece Beth Ann Kirkbride and his cousin Bill Dolan. Roger will also be united with his lifelong friend and soul mate Linda Williams. Roger was a tax preparer and an expert on glass as he bought and sold art glass. Roger led a very colorful life and will be greatly missed by his many lifelong friends. The Family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Heritage Hall convalescent home in Agawam, MA and to Bay State Hospice for the exceptional care given to Roger. There will be a burial service on Wednesday February 19, 2020 at 11:30am at St. Thomas Cemetery in West Springfield, MA. The Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
