Roland A. Hamel

Chicopee- Roland Alexander Hamel, 76, of Chapel Street passed away Tuesday at the Willimansett Center in Chicopee. He was born on November 21st, 1938 in Lewiston, ME to the late Oscar and Clara (Collins) Hamel. He spent most of his life in this area. He worked at the Golden Gavel Auction Company for many years. He was the loving husband of Joanne J (Yiznitsky) Hamel, beloved father of Amanda Hamel and Alexandra Kish and grandfather of Mackenzie Kish and Makayla Mims. Caring brother of Norman Hamel and wife Pinky of Springfield. He is predeceased by his brothers Burt and Bob Hamel. All funeral services will be private and Toomey-O�Brien Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
