Ronald J. Bovat

Ronald J. Bovat, 70, passed away Friday, September 27th. He was born in Springfield on November 2, 1953 to the late Ernest and Alice Bovat. Ron was predeceased by his wife of 30 years, JoAnne (Paquette) Bovat. He leaves his daughters; Jennifer Bennett and her husband James of South Hadley, Rebecca Twining and her husband Steve of Chicopee, brothers; Donald and his wife Norma of Montague, Brian and his partner Kimberly Murphy of Agawam, granddaughters; Diane-Marie and Alexandrea Bennett, great-grandchildren; Apollo and Coraline and two nieces; Laura and Lynn. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd from 10-11AM at Toomey O’Brien Funeral Home, 1043 Westfield St., West Springfield, followed by Ron’s Funeral Home Service at 11AM. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Westfield.
