Ronnie Drumm, 88, passed away at home July 18, 2023, after a short illness.
His career spanned several decades and included his dance band, conducting for many famous artists including Jack Benny, Bob Hope, Milton Berle and countless others; TV, and as Musical Director of Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Circus. He owned Ronnie Drumm’s House of Music in West Springfield, MA in the 60s and early 70s. Ronnie was predeceased by his son Robbie Drumm (2005) and his wife Beverly Macomber Drumm (2015). Among numerous friends to cherish his memory Ronnie leaves his children, Rick (Betsey), Ronnie (Kathy), Eileen (Bob), Scott Macomber (Allison) and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, Sept. 2, 2023, 10am at Toomey-O’Brien Funeral home in West Springfield, MA followed by a luncheon and “Jam Session for Pops” at the Castle of Knights in Chicopee, MA.
