Rosemary C. (Fortuna) Galary

West Springfield, Rosemary C. (Fortuna) Galary, 89, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Mercy Hospital. Born in Middletown, CT, August 3, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rosina (Solonia) Fortuna. Rosemary worked at Westover Air Force Base for over 35 years and the Springfield Armory for 25 years. Rosemary enjoyed cooking, baking and coin collecting and most loved spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her daughter, Linda Christianson. She leaves her loving daughters, Bonnie Hart of Agawam and Diane Lewis and her husband, Gerald of East Longmeadow, her siblings, Richard Fortuna of Middletown, CT and William Fortuna of Lakeworth, FL, loving grandchildren, Barry Syniec, Heather Merrill, Michael and Andrea Lewis, four great grandchildren and her son in law, Eric Christianson of Enfield, CT. She was predeceased by her siblings, Nicolas, Michael, Salvatore, Josephine, Joseph, James and Delores. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 11-1 at the Toomey-O�Brien Funeral Home, 1043 Westfield St., West Springfield, followed by interment in St Michael�s Cemetery in Springfield.
