Obituary
Roy Bernard Wright, 67, of Springfield Street passed away Sunday at Baystate Medical Center. He was born in Springfield on November 10, 1950 to the late Raymond and Celestina (Galloni) Wright. He lived in this area all of his life. Roy worked most of his life in construction. He was a graduate of Agawam High School where he starred in football and basketball. He leaves his longtime companion Debbie Bregoli, his daughter Kristen Wright and her partner Christopher Jarvis, his son Keith Wright, his siblings; Margaret Miller, Barbara Nicholson, Ray Wright and his wife Maryanne, and the late David Wright, and his grandchildren, Emerson Jarvis and Gary Desimone and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Thursday from 5-7 PM at the TOOMEY-O’BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield Street, West Spfld. There will be a Funeral Mass Friday at 11 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church followed by a burial at St. Thomas Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Roy’s name may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 516 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104-2396.
