Ruth V. Newhouse

Ruth V. Newhouse, 91, formerly of West Springfield died at Day Brook Village Senior Living in Holyoke on Monday, March 6, 2023. Born in Springfield on March 8, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Walter Newhouse and Harriette (Tibbetts) Newhouse. Ms. Newhouse had a long term relationship with Stanley J. Skaza until his death in 1994. She also loved the many cats she had during her life. Although Ruth was an only child she always welcomed the opportunity to make new friends. She was a woman of great faith. Ruth loved to cook and had a beautiful smile she was kind, thoughtful and generous. In Lieu of flowers please donate to an animal shelter of your choice.
