Ryan P. Stewart

West Springfield - Ryan Patrick Stewart, 24, passed away Monday. He was born in Springfield to Anita (Gomez) and Peter Stewart and has lived his entire life in West Springfield. Ryan was a graduate of West Springfield High School and attended Holyoke Community College. Presently he was employed in the shipping department at Fresenius Medical Care in Westborough. Ryan was a communicant of St. Thomas Church. He was an avid Boston sports fan. Ryan had a great sense of humor and was a loyal friend. He loved hockey, golf and music. Ryan leaves his beloved parents, Peter J. and Anita L. Stewart of W. Spfld., his loving sister, Sara B. Stewart of W. Spfld., his maternal grandmother, Dorothy Gomez of W. Spfld., his aunts and uncles, Bill and Jean Stewart, Roy Gomez, Tom Gomez, Bobby and Cyndy Gomez, cousins, Alyssa and Bobby Gomez, Alyssa Merrifield and Travis Stewart as well as his cat, Chomper and dog, Bailey. The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be Friday, 10AM, family and friends are asked to meet at St. Thomas Church, 65 Pine St. The burial will be held privately at St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday, 4-7PM at the TOOMEY-O'BRIEN Funeral Home, 1043 Westfield St., W. Spfld. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Massachusetts Organization for Addiction Recovery, 30 Winter St., Boston, MA 02108
