Southwick –Sandra L. "Sandy" Robertson passed away peacefully at home on June 10. She was 74 years old. Sandy was born to the late Claude and Edna (Slack) Brown on April 18, 1950 in Hammonton, NJ. She was raised in NJ, but eventually lived in NH, NY and MA. She and her husband Hammond "Skip" Robertson lived in Northfield before settling in Southwick 30+ years ago. Sandy earned an accounting certificate following graduation and worked as an accounts payable clerk in several organizations, most recently the Town of Southwick. She was proficient at many different arts and crafts including embroidery, crochet, needlepoint, Christmas ornaments, and jewelry and many other pieces. Another hobby was photography, especially sunsets, waterfalls, and nature. She loved beaches and travelling to many destinations around the country, especially Las Vegas and Hawaii with an occasional trip overseas to places like London and Bermuda with Skip. The two of them also loved Saratoga Racetrack where they spent summer weekends together for the last 30 years. Sandy was predeceased by her parents, her brother Roger Brown and her son-in-law Scott Young. She will be missed by her devoted husband, Hammond "Skip" Robertson; her daughter Robyn Mailloux and her husband Benjamin and their children Miles, Owen, Cole and Avery; and her daughter Kristen Young and her children Riley and Hannah. Any services will be scheduled later at the family's convenience. All arrangements have been entrusted to Toomey-O'Brien Funeral Home.
