Sandra O. (Rogers) Chaoush

West Springfield- Sandra O. Chaoush, 82, of Adrian Avenue passed away Tuesday at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. She was born in Springfield on October 19th, 1934 and has lived in this area her entire life. Years ago she worked at the former Buxtons in Agawam and after that she worked as a sales associate for Century 21. After she retired from real estate Sandra worked at Costco in West Springfield. She graduated from High School of Commerce in Springfield and was formerly a member of Mittineague Congregational Church in West Springfield. Sandra loved to garden and was known as an exceptional cook. She volunteered her time and cooking skills to the Athenaeum in Westfield. Sandra was a talented artist in both sculpting and painting. She loved animals of all kinds. Sandra was predeceased by her beloved husband, Byron R. Chaoush in 1990 and by her parents, John and Arline (Hannan) Rogers. She was the loving mother of Byron W. Chaoush and his wife Karyn of Westfield and William R. Chaoush of West Springfield, caring sister of John Rogers and his wife Gail of Chicopee, Lynn Colville and her husband Lee of New Milford, CT, Denise Cyr and her husband Rick and Pamela Rogers, all of Feeding Hills, and devoted grandmother of Nicholas and Olivia Chaoush. Sandra also leaves her good friend Fredericka Garreffa. All services are private and the burial will be at the convenience of the family. Toomey-O�Brien Funeral Home has been entrusted with all arrangements.
