Sarah M Candon

Sarah (McIntyre) Candon, 87, passed away September 13, 2024. She was born in Fallmore, County Mayo, Ireland on May 14, 1937. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Sarah (Keane) McIntyre. She came to Holyoke in 1956 and later met her husband Dermot Candon and married in 1966. Sarah and Dermot settled in Manchester CT where she was a dedicated homemaker. Her family, home and Irish heritage were very near to her heart. Her beloved husband, Dermot died in 1987. She was the loving mother of Thomas Candon of Agawam. She was a devoted sister of Kathleen Kearney of West Springfield, Nuala O’Flynn and Ann Clarke of England. She was predeceased by her siblings Sheila Coderre, Mary Keane, Patrick and Martin McIntyre.
