Obituary
Sergei Mostovoy, 85, of Stafford Street passed away Monday at home. He was born in Russia on February 23rd, 1932 to the late Prokop and Varvara Mostovoy. He grew up and spent most of his life in Russia before immigrating to the United States in 1989 and later became a U.S. Citizen. He worked as a welder for many years. Sergei was a member of the Slavic Pentecostal Church in West Springfield. He was predeceased by his wife Varvara (Eroshkin) Mostovoy in 2003. He leaves his wife Evgenija Kuzina, his six children; Nikolay, Vladimir, Peter, and Igor Mostovoy, Galina Golovanov, and Luba Korobkov, 21 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. There will be Funeral Home Service 1 PM Friday at TOOMEY-O’BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield Street, West Springfield. The burial will follow at Springfield Street Cemetery.
