Stanley W. Fitch, 86, passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2021 in Bronx, NY. Born in Palmer, MA on October 11, 1934, Stanley was the son of the late Dr. H. Wilfred and Marion (Egar) Fitch. Stanley grew up in Springfield, attended local schools and was a graduate of Springfield College. He worked as a surveyor for many years. He was predeceased by his siblings, Arthur Fitch, Luraine Hurd and Charlotte Rumlik. Stanley leaves several nieces and nephews including Gail Fitch, Susan Theriault, Judy Rumlik, Howard Hurd and Warren Hurd. A private burial will be in Hillcrest Park Cemetery and the Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Donations may be made to The Eliot at New Rochelle, 41 Lockwood Ave, New Rochelle, NY 10801.
