Obituary
Stella (Prusaczyk) Smith, 102, passed away Sunday, September 22. She was born February 5, 1917, to the late Stanley and Bertha (Tobol) Prusaczyk. Stella worked as a hostess in the Forbes & Wallace Department Store's "Top of the Town" restaurant in Springfield. She then worked as an operator for 40 years at AT&T in Springfield. She was devoted to her Church and family, and was an active member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church of West Springfield. She loved working outside at her beautiful home in West Springfield. She will be deeply missed by her son James Smith, grandchildren, Barry and Michael Smith and Cynthia Levasseur. She also had four beautiful great grandchildren Tanner, Dylan, Tyler and Fiona. Funeral Services will be private and the Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home, 1043 Westfield St., West Springfield is in charge of arrangements. Donations may be made to the St. Thomas School Development Fund 47 Pine St. West Springfield.
