Susan C Young

Susan C. (McNulty) Young, 77, passed away Thursday March 23, 2023. Born in Springfield, August 22, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Maurice and Doris (Little) McNulty. Susan was a graduate of West Springfield High School and a former communicant of St. Thomas Church. She ran a Day Care for children for many years. Her husband, Thomas died in 1999. She leaves her children, Steven Young and his wife Donna of Wilbraham and Julie Swanson and her husband John of Columbia, MD, her sister, Mary Yarsley of West Springfield, her grandchildren, Kevin and his wife Kendell, Brett, Jared, Bryan, Jeannette and Jack and her great grandson, Luke. She was predeceased by her son Michael who died in 1968. The family would like to thank Gary Forney for his care and compassion. The funeral home service will be held Saturday March 25 at 11AM at the Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home with burial to follow in St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 9:30-11AM.
