Susie J. (Sadak) Cotton, 93 passed away April 29 at Agawam Health Care Center. Born in Feeding Hills, July 4, 1926 she was the daughter of the late James and Jenny (Slaimen) Sadak. Susie worked for various insurance companies including Carellas, Della Luna and Cassidy Insurance. She was a communicant of St. Thomas Church and a member of the St. Anthony Maronite Church and Guild, the Tatham Social Club and was Treasurer of the DAV Auxillary. Her beloved husband John C. Cotton died in 2000. She leaves her loving children, Jeanne Van Allen of Agawam, Patricia Matusiewicz and her husband Stephen of Hatfield and John C. “Jack” Jr and his wife Lorrie of West Springfield, her beloved sisters, Ann Malkoon and Elmyra Harbey both of West Springfield, her beloved grandchildren, Michael, Marc, Vincent, Stefanie, Kristy, John C. III and Brian, her 7 loving great grandchildren, her loving sister with whom she lived, Elizabeth Aleveras passed away on the same day as Susie and she was predeceased by her son in law John. The family would like to thank the entire staff at Agawam Health Care for their wonderful care and compassion. The funeral and burial will be private. The Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Donations may be made to the Holyoke Soldiers Home 110 Cherry St. Holyoke, MA. 01040.
