Suzanne C Gauthier

Suzanne C. Gauthier, 74, passed away peacefully at her home on June 26th, 2023. Suzanne, daughter of the late Leonard Guertin and Annette (Lussier) Guertin, was born on January 2, 1949 in Springfield, MA. Suzanne married the love of her life, Gerald R Gauthier, on September 30th, 1972, at St. John the Evangelist Church in Agawam, MA. They remained married for 45 years until Gerald’s passing on January 31st, 2018. They met at Riverdale Lanes in West Springfield and spent a substantial amount of time there with their family and friends. It was truly their home away from home. Suzanne was the most loving wife and mother that anyone could ever hope for, and she was extremely protective of what mattered most to her, her family. She was a cashier at Walmart for over 20 years and had a number of friends that will remember her as being cheerful, friendly and helpful with anyone she encountered. Suzanne is survived by her two sons, Glen R Gauthier and Greg R Gauthier. She will be reunited with her husband for all of eternity on Wednesday July 5th, 2023 at Mass Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 1390 Main St. Agawam, MA. The funeral service will take place at 9:00AM. The Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
